Go easy taxi reservation is the rip-off free taxi reservation system of Go Eat Lisboa.

Taxis in Portugal are relatively cheap and a lot taxi drivers are honest. Some do abuse the position of tourists who don’t speak the language or know their way around Lisbon. Using our reservations system is free and protects you misunderstanding or unexpected high taxi fares!
Go Eat Lisboa works together with official taxi drivers in and around Lisbon, Cascais, Oeiras and Sintra to provide taxi reservations to and from Go eat restaurants.
The reservation software provides automatic address insertion of the restaurant of your choice and the possibility to either provide your starting address by insertion or to choose an address from a list of common Lisbon places i.e airport or other transit points, hotels or tourist spots, this makes getting a taxi a lot easier for none Portuguese speakers and gives a trustworthy indication of your trip’s price.
It saves a lot of time and fuss if you have a taxi waiting for you, with a driver who already knows exactly where to take you and you roughly know how much the trip will cost.
To use this service you need to become a Go eat member, registration is easy!
Taxi reservation is free but to avoid abuse, you will have to verify your membership.
Reservation are accepted up to 24 hours prior to the reservation time.
Using the system
Using the system is easy.
You can start the taxi reservation system straight from the Interactive culinary / restaurants map and find the restaurant you want to travel to, or go straight from the restaurant you’re reading about by selecting ‘Click to get driving, public transport directions or reserve a taxi’ on the right hand side.
From the pop-up balloon, click on taxi or directions.
Either fill in your starting address or choose a common address from the ‘select a starting address’ menu.
Click on ‘submit this starting address’
Verify the information that you filled in or submitted.
If your starting address and the restaurant are correct
Click ‘proceed’.
You may now enter the credentials for your reservation.
You may also use the program to call a taxi in or around Lisbon (note* You will be calling general taxi drivers, not Go Eat verified taxi drivers), get driving directions or public transport information.
